Hello and Welcome to the FoodStak Legacy Files

For a few years, my original site, Foodstak, was a mix of content that explored the heart of the home through the eyes (and kitchens) of others. From the organised and well-used freezer to the curated inspiration of a cookbook shelf, these stories built a wonderful community of food lovers around the world.

As I move forward to focus entirely on baking over at the main site, I wanted to ensure these stories didn't just vanish into the digital ether.

What you’ll find here:

Think of this site as a quiet library. A place to browse, reminisce, and find inspiration in the everyday details of a food-filled life. Including Q&A from some amazing food writers.

Looking for my latest baking recipes? If you’re here for the flour, the butter, and the "simply better" ways to bake, please head over to my active home at: 👉 Foodstak.com

Thank you for being part of this journey and for contributing to these archives.

Happy browsing!

Lynn Hill

Q: Hello, Suzy. Can you briefly introduce yourself?  A: My name is Suzy Valtsioti. I'm a writer, an artist and a foodie. I love to grow my own veggies and fruit. I write a substack publication called  Sosanni Valtsioti in the Kitchen Q: How would you describe the layout of your kitchen, its history and how it was designed? A: This is a newly built house, so the kitchen is 2 years old! It is a long kitchen, it’s quite big and very simple. It has a farmhouse feel to it, and the windows look out onto the garden and the patio. It has 2 long counters and a kitchen table in the center. I have 2 armchairs near the patio balcony doors. I used to have them both facing outdoors - but I whimsically turned one around to face the kitchen - so I can keep an eye on everything and watch the TV from the armchair. I get a lot of reading done there! Q: How much role does your kitchen play in your family's life, entertaining, writing, and testing recipes for your newsletter?  ...
